So Yah, Do CAPS! - Alumni Reflections on the CAPS Experience

Image
ONCE A CAPer, ALWAYS A CAPPER. On Wednesday, December 21, 2022, graduated alumni from the Cedar Falls CAPS and regional Cedar Valley CAPS programs came together to celebrate their experience at the first-ever CAPS Alumni Winter Social Reflections. About 50 former CAPS alumni attended the event at Gravitate Coworking, with graduates from Cedar Falls, Jesup, Don Bosco, and Columbus High Schools joining the celebration. Clayberg, who operated a business solutions firm and had also been asked to assist with CAPS, discussed the challenges of getting companies and schools to work well together. Wiechmann recalls thinking, “this is definitely something that’s worth looking at” and signed on to the effort. It was “two weeks to Christmas break and a month (of school being in session) before this thing ...
